API and MCP

Two ways into the same account. The REST API is for your own program. MCP is for an assistant that calls the tools itself. Both use the same key and see only the dossiers of that place.

REST API

GET and POST on /api/v1. Dossiers, people involved, estate inventory, tasks and an internal note.

MCP

JSON-RPC on /api/mcp. Six tools: lists, one dossier, a task and a note.

  • The owner turns the API on under Workspace, Settings. Until then every key responds with 403.
  • A key starts with nal_ and is shown once. An account can hold eight active keys.
  • No document files, no BSN and no private notes in the responses. A note you add yourself through the API stays internal.
  • One hundred and twenty requests per key per minute. After that, 429.
