The notary of the estate inventory is not the old family notary

The notary who handles this estate inventory is not automatically the notary with whom the family earlier signed a deed. The old relationship is a fact you may note if the family says so. It is not an appointment for this death. Ask who acts now and record that name with the source: a letter, an instruction, or the message that it is still open. For as long as it is open, you do not write the family notary of an earlier deed as the notary of the estate inventory because the telephone number stands in the archive. Two names may stand side by side. One is historical contact. The other is the notary of this estate. Only the second gets the questions that belong with this estate inventory.

Which questions are the notary's ought to be visible in the file. The qualification of a habitual residence, the question whether a will contains a valid choice of law, the question whether a liquidator (vereffenaar) is needed, the question what an executor may do. Those are questions for the notary, not for the worksheet. The program stores the facts you have: where someone lived, which document you read, which role stands on paper. You fill in the answer only once the notary gives it, and then with that source. An internal estimate stays an internal note. It does not become a timeline fact and not a letter. Heirs do not see it because a note never goes to the portal.

Also note which questions are not the software's, in a task to the office itself. Do not promise an amount before the values and the debts are there. Do not value a house abroad with a Dutch WOZ. Do not share a draft letter. Those tasks stay with the office, with the label appointment if it is about the planning. The notary gets the legal questions, not the csv preview and not the hours log. That way the separation stays readable. If the notary of the estate inventory changes, you replace the name and keep the old one as an earlier state, with the date. A letter that is still addressed to the previous notary stays a draft until you put it right. Sending is a task. The status in the file is not an instruction.

Ervazo records who has been named as notary of this estate inventory and which question stands open there. Ervazo records and calculates as a worksheet. The worksheet does not choose the notary and it gives no notarial answer. That is not advice. It files nothing and it pays nothing. The program executes no notarial deed and it sends no instruction to a notary's office. A telephone number from an old file does not of itself become the person handling the matter. The staff member fills in the name from a document or leaves the field empty with a task. The worksheet calculates at most with figures that have a source. The legal question stays with the notary who really handles this estate inventory.
